We were recently delighted to receive the following letter from Gary Roberts, Chief Executive Officer from the Guernsey Football Association in relation to their use of JTC Park as part of July’s Island Games.
“On behalf of the Guernsey Football Association, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support of the Guernsey Men’s Representative team during the 2015 NatWest Island Games.
“Without the support of JTC Jersey Wanderers and specifically the use of the Clubhouse and facilities at JTC Park, the Team would not have been as well prepared as they ultimately were. The management team, coaches, chef and perhaps most importantly the players, were all greatly impressed and appreciative of the facilities available at JTC Park.
“All of those involved from Guernsey Football Association had a memorable week in Jersey and this was greatly enhanced by the experience that they all had at JTC Park. Without question, the opportunity to create a ‘base camp’ for the Men’s team, was instrumental in assisting the team in winning the Gold Medal.
“For the many of the players, the Island Games will prove to be a career highlight and it is the overall experience, including the time spent at JTC Park, that will be an abiding memory for this group.
“Please pass on special thanks to Bob Lawrence for assisting and coordinating the use of JTC Park and to Julian for his continuous support throughout the week in Jersey.
“On behalf of the players, coaches, management team and all at the Guernsey Football Association, once again, thank you for your support and we look forward to meeting again in the future.”
